It's haute couture week here in Paris right now and besides walking past extremely beautiful people clad in very extravagant clothes in the street you also notice a difference in the city landscape. Today is the last day of the week and I just had to get myself down to Place Vendôme and see the installation Chanel put there to celebrate the launch of their new haute joallerie collection. Les blés de Chanel. Coco Chanel thought wheat was a symbol of luck and the design team decided to create a collection from this. Since I'm a farmers daughter I felt right at home in this glamorous field of wheat 😉

It's clear it's haute joallerie cus the diamonds are a-shining. Maybe a tad too much for my simple Scandi taste, what are your thoughts? 🙂 photos courtesy of Chanel, more here.
