Ny vecka, ny inspiration!

New week, new inspiration! I started my day with huge cups of tea (throat hurting) and kissing Oscar goodbye, he's leaving for Italy this week so I wont see him for two weeks. After that I dove deep into the Weekly Inspiration, a post I've struggled with visually. I really want it to feel like a feast for the eyes, I think this format is a little more feastly or what do you think?

Anyways, here's a few things that watered my inspiration plant lately:

THE EXHIBITION

We went to see Albert Marquet's work at Musée d'art Moderne this weekend and the exhibition was completely up my alley. The colors and the light in the paintings was marvelous. Even if he often painted the same motifs (The Seine and oceans) the paintings came out very different depending on time of the year and day it was painted on (and his mood too of course). So rad.

THE RUNWAYS:

I bild: Alexander McQueen och velourdröm från See by Chloé. Andra stjärnor: Jill Stuart, Joseph, Rosie Assoulin, Camilla & Marc, Missoni mfl.

I've gone through Vogue Runway and found tons of droolworthy material from the restort collections. I agree with Swedish Editor in chief of Elle Cia Jansson and fashion journo Susanne Ljung who recently said that they find the resort collections a lot more fun and easy to love. Pictured: Alexander McQueen and velvet wonder from See by Chloé. Other faves: Jill Stuart, Joseph, Rosie Assoulin, Camilla & Marc, Missoni etc.

THE WANT:

Fashion/interior magazine Cabana has done a special edition colab with no one less than Gucci. I ran into the issue at Ofr (a magazine/art shop near Republique I wrote about here) and was totally blown away. But they price tag was incredible 180€ so I put it down and slowly backed away from that beautiful piece of godly inspiration.

THE MOTIVATION:

Vad tycks?

I liked this doodle about art. See art, do art, eat art, breathe art. Make everything a little bit more interesting to watch. What do you think?
