Ibland ska man tydligen ha lite tur! Ni vet nog by now att jag är ett stort Tim Walker fan, jag höll ett föredrag om honom i Fashion Photography-kursen för ett tag sen till och med. Då kollade jag även upp vad hans fotoböcker kostar, givetvis är de flesta slut i upplaga och svindyra på ebay (100€!). Men när Oscar var här för ett par veckor sedan strosade vi runt på en antikmarknad som händer några gånger per år i 9:e och VAD TROR NI VI RÅKAR PÅ?! Ja, ett ex av slutsålda Pictures! Tack till Oscar för spotting, och tack till farbrorn som sålde den för 40€ (han var så trött på att bära runt på den, den väger ett par kilon).  Lyckan va! Så nu har jag kanske världens finaste bok i min ägo.

Sometimes you're lucky! You probably know by now that I'm a big Tim Walker fan, I even held a presentation about him in the Fashion Photography course a while ago. Around then I also checked what his photo books cost, the most of them are of course out of circulation and they're super expensive on ebay (€ 100!). But when Oscar was here a couple of weeks ago we strolled around in an antique market (that happens a few times a year in the 9th) and what do you think we came across?! Yes, a copy of the sold out Pictures! Thanks to Oscar for spotting it, and thanks to the man who sold it for 40 € (he was so tired of carrying it around, it weighs a few pounds). Happiness! So now I have perhaps the finest book ever in my possession.

Älskar hans serie med färgade djur. Helt fantastisk. I just love his series of pastel colored animals. It's fantastic.
